- What is data? What is data analysis? Careers and opportunities in data analytics
- Basic Excel terms, shortcuts, creating tables, calculations, formulas, and importing files
- Data cleaning, sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Basics of SQL, creating tables, importing datasets, and working with relational databases
- Running SQL queries, data cleaning, transforming data, joins, and subqueries
- Overview of Power BI, importing datasets, data visualization, and using DAX functions
- Designing and building Power BI dashboards
- Project design, planning, and case studies
- Documentation, presentation, backup, and project defense
- Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL Workbench, Microsoft Word
- Interview preparation, practice questions, and project design

What You Will Learn
- Learn about careers and opportunities that exists within the industry
- Learn the concept of data analytics, its applications, processes, workflow
- Get familiar with tools being used globally to analyse and process data.
- Understand working with Excel as a data analyst, the different data analytics process, use of excel functions and the stages in carrying out data analysis
- Master tools like Power BI, and become proficient in SQL and also become familiar with Python ion to Python for Data Analytics.
- Identify, locate, evaluate, collect, compile and responsibly use data and associated materials from multiple sources relevant for Data Analytics.
- Use appropriate models of analysis, assess the quality of input, derive insight from results, and investigate potential issues.
- Take large volumes of complex data, extract insights, and help solve business problems.
